Pasteurella multocida detection kits

Pasteurella multocida is common in pneumonia of cattle and pigs, and causes fowl cholera. The organism has rarely been recognized in human infection. P. multocida infection should be suspected when any local inflammation is found following an animal bite, especially when it is accompanied by evidence of involvement of distant body organs.
