Over the years, Bioingentech has evolved from a local initiative into a global biotechnology company, including clinical trials, international partnerships, certifications, and worldwide product distribution. 2006–2008

Bird Sexing Service & Animal Patoghen implementation

We started with genetic bird sexing in Santiago, then expanded to Concepción with Innovabiobio (CORFO) seed capital. mplemented in Chile with support from veterinarians and entrepreneurs, including Dr. Enzo Bosco from the Neurological Institute of Chile and Dr. Ignacio Idalsoaga Buin Zoo.

Genetic Test in Human

We complete the methodologies develop implementation for genetics detection of specific genes that is known affect Human health.

Papilloma virus Multiplex PCR for cancer high risk strains Sponsored: UDEC IDEA INCUBA. - Project Code: 443 INNOVABIOBIO contribution: U$ 7.900 - Bioingentech contribution: U$ 16.100

2009–2011

Human Test Validation

We conducted clinical trials with Hospital Guillermo Grant Benavente in Concepción, led by Dr. Nancy Henríquez, chief of the Microbiology Laboratory. We achieved primary validation of diagnostic methods for detecting genes linked to human health, including Hantavirus, CMV, HSV1, Mycoplasma, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Proyect Incuba UDEC

We obtained Innovabiobio support in its 6° contest for the implementation a diagnostic methodology for Human Papilloma virus detection (6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58 strains). This project was supported also by Incuba UDEC.

Proyect INNOVA BIO-BIO

We obtained resources for the genomic services internalization into bird industry by CORFO contest. Internalization of genomic services for Birds industry. Project Code: 10-IE S5-809 INNOVAChile contribution: U$ 68.000 Bioingentech contribution: U$ 54.000

2012-2013

Molecular Diagnostics Contribution with HGG

Clinical trials with the Guillermo Grant Benavente Hospital, with the leader of the HGGB Microbiology Laboratory in Concepción, Chile, Dr. Nancy Henrriquez. 1,100 samples were donated for PCR testing of human pathogens: HIV, Hanta virus, Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, HSV 1 and 2, CMV, VZ, HTLV, HPV, SGB and others. This study motivated the implementation of HGGB molecular biology unit.

Vet Conventional PCR

We obtained resources for develop genetic veterinary pathogen detection medical devices by Conventional PCR (end point technology). We accomplished more than 100 different pathogens medical devices.

Vet products & services

We internalized the veterinary genomic services and the merchandising of the medical devices for Biomedicine and veterinary pathogen detection.

2014-2015

Project CONICYT

Development of exotic animal pathogen diagnostic devices. Project Code: 781303021 CONICYT Contribution: U$ 62.000

PCR Real-Time

We obtained resources for develop Biomedical and Veterinary medical devices with the Real Time technology (5′ Nucleases technology).

2016

Conference

We were chosen for participate in the world Biotechnology Conference made in San Francisco, California, USA. Also we started the Recombinant enzymes production for the Agropecuary, energetic, food and petrochemical Industry.

Clinical trial validation for multiplex detection of viral and bacterial STIs

2017-2019

CORFO

We obtained “Best Chilean Biomedicine Company Award” by CORFO during a recognition and results presentation ceremony for the project of “Programa Capital Humano Avanzado 2016, CORFO” done in November 24, 2017.

Biotherapeutics

We obtained a feasibility report in clinical trials made on Camels from UEA for our first Camelpox Biotherapeutics. We are making economic and scientific research in Immunotherapy and Biopharmacs.

Agreement with Labvima SH laboratory

Agreement with the Labvima SH laboratory, for the development of PCR Multiplex Mastitis and other pathogens that affect the livestock and dairy industry.

2020-2021

SARS-CoV-2 virus

Implementation of the detection methodology ‘One-Step RT-qPCR SARS-CoV-2’ in both uniplex and multiplex formats.'

A contribution to corporate social responsibility

Approximately two million real-time RT-PCR tests were applied across South America, primarily in Chile, supporting citizens and industry.

Kits commertialization around the world

WCommercialization of the ‘One-Step RT-qPCR SARS-CoV-2’ kit, shipped to over 34 countries, with more than twenty million tests sold worldwide to date.

2022-2023

Update: ISO 9001

ISO 9001 quality management system renewed. Participated as an investor in a South American real estate investment fund.

Colombia branch inauguration

Business mission in Colombia, in order to establish the Bioingentech S.A.S. branch.

Biotherapeutic technologies support

Investment in the private equity fund ‘Chiral Investment Biotechnology,’ supporting the development of it.

2024-2025

Update: ISO 9001 & ISO 13485

Updated certifications for ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Chiral Investment Biotechnology collaboration

Development of new biotherapeutics for diseases affecting production animals, in collaboration with Chiral Investment Biotechnology.
