Falcon adenovirus is a newly recognized member of the family Aviadenoviridae and includes 2 closely related strains that are pathogenic to several species of falcons. The primary lesions are inclusión body hepatitis, splenomegaly, and moderate to severe lymphoid atrophy and lympholysis in the bursa of Fabricius. Virus is spread horizontally.
