This video demonstrates the quality control procedure for our RNA qPCR kits.
As part of our routine quality control process, each test is performed in triplicate. However, for demonstration purposes and to keep this video concise, only one replicate is performed.
The procedure also illustrates how to prepare a serial dilution for a quantitative RT-qPCR standard curve. This involves preparing approximately eight to nine tubes with successive dilutions of the positive control, along with one negative control.
The number of replicates can be adjusted according to the user’s requirements and laboratory procedures. For example, samples can be tested in duplicate or triplicate to improve the reliability of the results.
