The parasite is primarily transmitted through the consumption of raw or undercooked meat containing infective larvae and represents an important concern for food safety, veterinary surveillance, and public health worldwide. The kit contains reagents and enzymes for the specific amplification of Trichinella spp. DNA targets and an Internal Control amplification system to identify possible PCR inhibition.
