Oncorhynchus masou virus disease (OMVD) is an oncogenic and skin ulcerative condition coupled with hepatitis among salmonid fish. The aetiological agent is Oncorhynchus masou virus OMV ( family Herpesviridae). DNA probe has been used for detection of virus genome.
