Multiplex FADV, CAV and MD

Fowl adenovirus (FADV), chicken anemia virus (CAV), and Marek’s disease virus (MDV) represent three major viral pathogens affecting poultry health and production globally. FADV causes inclusion body hepatitis and hemorrhagic enteritis with high mortality in young chickens. CAV causes immunosuppression through infection of lymphoid tissue, increasing susceptibility to secondary infections and reducing vaccine efficacy. MDV causes lymphomas and neurological disease in chickens with substantial economic impact. These viruses often co-infect and compound clinical disease severity through synergistic immunosuppressive effects. Simultaneous detection is essential for comprehensive disease surveillance in breeding flocks, hatcheries, and commercial operations.
