Eimeria Acervulina

The OneqPCR-realtime™ Eimeria acervulina Kit constitutes a ready-to-use system for the detection of Eimeria acervulina by real-time PCR. The assay is designed to detect Eimeria acervulina through the amplification of specific parasite DNA targets. Eimeria acervulina is an intracellular protozoan parasite belonging to the family Eimeriidae and is an important causative agent of coccidiosis in chickens, primarily affecting the upper small intestine. Its infection can cause intestinal lesions, reduced nutrient absorption, impaired growth, and economic losses in poultry production. Its detection may therefore be relevant for poultry health monitoring, disease surveillance, and control programs. The kit contains reagents and enzymes for the specific amplification of E. acervulina DNA targets, together with an Internal Control amplification system to identify possible PCR inhibition. The kit also includes a Positive Control PCR mix to ensure reliable assay performance.
