Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia

The OneqPCR-realtime™ Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia Kit constitutes a ready-to-use system for the detection of Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides, the causative agent of contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP), by real-time PCR. Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia is a highly contagious respiratory disease of cattle characterized by severe pulmonary lesions, respiratory distress, and potentially high mortality, resulting in significant economic losses to the livestock industry. The kit contains reagents and enzymes for the specific amplification of M. mycoides subsp. mycoides DNA targets, together with an Internal Control amplification system to identify possible PCR inhibition. The kit also includes a Positive Control PCR mix to ensure reliable assay performance.
