Canine hepatitis is a disease of the liver and other body organs caused by canine adenovirus type 1 (CaAV-1). The virus is found worldwide and is spread by body fluids including nasal discharge and urine. The way of transmission is very important: when gets into the body through the mouth, his effects appear in the liver; if inhaled, probably a less serious disease can occur in the respiratory tubes.
