Healthcare professionals are invited to join Advancing Precision Oncology & Pathology – Atlanta, a complimentary in-person educational program focused on strengthening collaboration across the cancer care continuum.
Hosted by Advancing Pathology Education (APE) and Advancing Precision Oncology (APO) in partnership with City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta, this multidisciplinary meeting will bring together oncologists, pathologists, and diagnostic specialists to explore how biomarker-driven diagnostics, molecular profiling, and emerging targeted therapies are transforming precision oncology across tumor types.
The program is chaired by Debora Bruno, MD, MS, thoracic medical oncologist and Medical Director of Clinical Research at City of Hope Atlanta. Under her leadership, the event will present practical strategies for integrating advanced diagnostics and personalized therapies into everyday oncology practice.
A featured session will be led by Keerthi Gogineni, MD, MSHP, Associate Professor of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Gogineni is a board-certified medical oncologist and breast cancer specialist at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, with clinical and research expertise centered on breast cancer care, clinical trials, innovative treatment approaches, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
During her session on Breast Cancer, Dr. Gogineni will discuss current approaches to breast cancer management, including advances in targeted therapies, biomarker-informed treatment decisions, and emerging strategies shaping precision oncology for breast cancer patients.
