The Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Cancer Care conference will take place on February 27–28, 2026, in Los Angeles, bringing together oncologists, pathologists, and translational researchers to explore how integrated diagnostics are reshaping precision cancer care.

Hosted in partnership with City of Hope, this multidisciplinary program focuses on bridging diagnostic discovery and therapeutic decision-making, highlighting how coordinated insights across pathology, molecular testing, and oncology are improving patient outcomes.

A multidisciplinary approach to precision oncology

Cancer care is increasingly driven by the integration of biomarkers, molecular profiling, and advanced diagnostics into clinical decision-making. This conference is designed to reflect that reality by uniting experts across disciplines to examine how diagnostic data can directly inform treatment selection, disease monitoring, and long-term management.

The program is co-chaired by:

  • Stephen Gruber, MD, PhD, MPH
Vice President, City of Hope National Medical Center
  • Eric F. Glassy, MD, FCAP
Medical Director, Affiliated Pathologists Medical Group

Together, they lead a program that emphasizes collaboration across clinical and diagnostic domains, fostering meaningful connections across the West Coast oncology community.

Conference highlights and learning objectives

Participants will engage in thought-provoking sessions covering major cancer types and diagnostic strategies, including:

  • Breast, lung, colorectal, hematologic, and melanoma cancers
  • Biomarkers and emerging diagnostic methodologies
  • Digital pathology and liquid biopsy
  • Germline and somatic testing
  • Minimal residual disease (MRD) and genomic testing platforms
  • Early cancer detection strategies

Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn free CE/CME and MOC credits while participating in discussions that bridge science, diagnostics, and clinical practice.
