The OneqPCR-realtime™ Filaria spp. Kit constitutes a ready-to-use system for the broad-range detection of Filaria spp. by real-time PCR. The assay is designed to detect a wide variety of filarial nematode species through the amplification of a conserved consensus sequence, enabling broad-spectrum detection across diverse hosts and sample types. Filarial nematodes comprise a diverse group of parasitic worms that can infect humans and animals, with different species associated with lymphatic, subcutaneous, or cardiopulmonary diseases. The kit contains reagents and enzymes for the specific amplification of conserved Filaria spp. DNA targets, together with an Internal Control amplification system to identify possible PCR inhibition. The kit also includes a Positive Control PCR mix to ensure reliable assay performance.
