Sialodacryoadenitis virus (SDAV) (RNA virus of the family Coronaviridae) is a common and highly contagious pathogen of laboratory rats. Infant mice, are susceptible to experimental infection. Clinical signs may vary in severity, and include sneezing, nasal discharge, cervical edema and ocular lesions.
